Backstory

I got a wrestling flyer from school in kindergarten, and I had to beg my parents to sign it. After asking my parents many times, my dad finally signed it one morning. I started wrestling at the youth program in Dodgeville. From there, I joined my first wrestling club, named 4X. 4X was run by a 4-time state champion, Cole Wunnicke. I started wrestling at national tournaments and did better and better at each one. I eventually started going to Sebolt Wrestling Academy after losing to one of their wrestlers. I would drive 4 hours each way to Iowa in order to practice there under TJ Sebolt. Once I got to high school, I switched to Askren Wrestling Academy and have wrestled there for the last four years.

I love wrestling because there are always new skills to learn and improve upon to become a better wrestler. Also, wrestling is an individual sport, so I am able to rely on myself to achieve success.
