Cabela started wrestling when she was seven years old. There were times early on that we weren’t sure wrestling was quite for her. Every practice and match was emotional and she struggled to find success on the mat. We joined an awesome club, met some awesome people and thanks to a great coach, Cabela slowly started to improve. She got the privilege of wrestling with some of the best youth wrestlers in New York State, day in and day out and made some amazing friendships along the way. One of those friends brought an eagle home from Reno worlds and it became her obsession. She was determined to do the same. It transformed her. She put her head down and achieved her goal but wasn’t satisfied there. Her determination to be the best continues to drive her. The best part is, this is only the beginning for her. She continues to perfect her craft and work toward even bigger goals. Keep an eye on her as she continues to reach for the sky.
