Teagan really wanted to get his start in 2020 when he was 5 years old, but corona quickly dashed his dreams, in 2021 Teagan began asking us again to join wrestling and I'll be first to admit his dad and I were part of the people he's out to prove wrong, we were worried that his disability would limit him and hold him back as he can't learn as quickly as his peers, but as his love for the sport grew our worries faded away and turned into what can we do to help further him. We found new clubs and new coaches ones who worked well with kids like Teagan and after that he really began to shine, it has been almost 3 years since joining a new club and Teagan went from 3 career wins to now over 200.

I love wrestling because each match is an opportunity to see what I am made of each time I hit the mat I want to be the best and prove to the people who said I wouldn't be great due to my disability that I can be and will be great. And of course, there's nothing that beats the feeling of coming out with the win on a hard-fought match.
