Backstory

I started wrestling when I was 10, I had mainly started wrestling only to learn takedowns so I could use them in jiu jitsu. I had no interest in competing. Then my coach had me go to Las Vegas and compete at RMN Event Freakshow only a few months into wrestling and I placed true 2nd at one of the biggest national tournaments on the west coast. And since then, I’ve been more goal driven about competing in wrestling.

Why OLIVIA DAVALOS Loves Wrestling

I love wrestling because of how challenging it is. In this sport you must be dedicated and have discipline to succeed, and wrestling has shown me that nothing is given to you, you have to work hard at your craft, you earn exactly what you put in, the mats do not lie.
