Backstory
My wrestling journey began at a young age, and it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the challenge of the sport. What started as an opportunity to try something new quickly became a passion that has shaped who I am, both on and off the mat.
Every practice, every match, every victory, and every setback has helped build me into a stronger athlete and a stronger person. Wrestling has taught me discipline, confidence, sacrifice, and what it truly means to keep pushing when things get hard.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up every day, putting in the work when nobody is watching, believing in myself, and refusing to quit. Through the wins, the tough losses, and countless hours of training, I’ve learned that resilience and determination are just as important as talent.
Every experience has added another chapter to my journey. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I know I’m not finished. I want to continue competing with heart, inspiring others—especially young girls who dream of accomplishing big things—and chasing greatness every time I step on the mat.
This is my journey, my grind, and my story—and I’m just getting started.
Why KI'MORAH CATHEY Loves Wrestling
I love wrestling because it pushes me to be the best version of myself. It’s not just about winning medals it’s about the discipline, determination, and confidence I’ve gained. Wrestling has taught me to never give up, even when things get hard, and that’s something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
